Accessibility Statement

Last updated

Fitted Technology wants everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser, or assistive technology they rely on.

The standard we build to

We built this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What that means in practice

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visible.
  • A "Skip to main content" link is the first stop on every page.
  • Pages use real headings, landmarks, and labels so screen readers can navigate them.
  • Text meets contrast minimums and can be resized to 200 percent without losing content.
  • Layouts reflow down to a 320 pixel wide screen with no sideways scrolling.
  • Buttons and links are large enough to tap comfortably.
  • Animation is subtle, and it is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • The contact form has visible labels, clear error messages, and works without JavaScript.

How we test

Every page is checked with automated accessibility tests (axe-core) at phone and desktop sizes, and the navigation, mobile menu, and contact form are tested with a keyboard. Automated tests do not catch everything, so we also review pages by hand.

Known limitations

  • Older blog posts may contain images without detailed text alternatives, or embedded content from other sites that we do not control.
  • Client websites and other external sites we link to are outside our control.
