This website is operated by Fitted Tech LLC, a Washington limited liability company, doing business as Fitted Technology ("we", "us"). This policy covers www.fittedtech.com.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you use the contact form we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number (if you add it), the topic you choose, and your message. When you call or email us, we receive whatever you choose to share.
Newsletter. If you sign up for the newsletter on the blog, we receive your email address and your name if you give it.
Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. Blog posts keep an anonymous view count.
Analytics. Analytics are off by default. When they are turned on, we use privacy-friendly page statistics that do not use cookies to identify you. If Google Analytics is turned on, it uses cookies; your browser's settings and Google's opt-out tools let you block it.
Spam protection. The contact and newsletter forms may use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. When it is active, Google receives information about your device and how you interact with the page, under Google's own privacy policy and terms.
How we use it
- To reply to you and to do the work you ask us to do.
- To send the newsletter, if you signed up for it.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use what you send through the contact form for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and handle messages. They process information on our behalf:
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Our email provider (delivers contact form messages to our inbox)
- Linear (an internal task tracker where a contact request may be filed)
- Kit (newsletter delivery, only if you subscribe)
- Sanity (stores and serves blog content)
- Google (reCAPTCHA spam protection, and Google Analytics if enabled)
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of work we have done for you. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@fittedtech.com.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any issue.
- You can call or email instead of using the contact form.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law.
Children
This website is for adults arranging services for a home or a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Links to other sites
Our pages link to other websites, such as client sites and social networks. Their privacy practices are their own.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
